MEXICO — The Mexico Police Department responded to 28 complaints during the past six days. Among them are the following.
Car-deer accident
A 2006 Subaru Forester driven by Cynthia Dawson, 55, of Roxbury, struck a deer when it ran onto Route 120 at 7:46 p.m., May 31. The vehicle sustained minimal damage to the bumper. The deer was killed.
Suspected child abuse
A Granite Street resident reported at 9:38 p.m., June 2, that her 3-year-old son appeared to have bruising on his buttocks when she returned to her home. The child was in the care of a man who is actively being sought by police.
Theft
A Main Street resident reported at 2:46 p.m., June 3, that someone had entered his residence and stole a laptop computer valued at $300.
Theft/burglary
A Kimball Avenue resident reported at 1:54 p.m., June 3, that someone entered his garage and stole a television and several mechanics tools, all valued at about $500.
