DIXFIELD — Mrs. Yang Xi and Mr. Duowen Xiao of Chengdu, China, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Hanmiao Xiao, to Kevin Knight, son of Karl and Kathy Knight of Dixfield.

The future bride graduated from Sichuan Normal University in China with a bachelor’s degree in English education and Northland International University in Dunbar, Wisc., with a master’s degree in cross-cultural studies.

The future bridegroom graduated from the University of Maine in Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in geography and religion and Northland International University in Dunbar, Wisc., with a master’s degree in Biblical studies.

A June 30 wedding is planned in Farmington.
