The homosexual lobby has once again targeted Maine. This time, to redefine traditional marriage.

In the mid 1990s, I found out that the homosexual agenda was being promoted in the public schools, mostly without parental knowledge or approval. I believe that is how they are advancing their agenda.

A book titled “After the Ball,” authored by two homosexual activists, laid out a blueprint of how they would achieve their goals. They began by pleading for tolerance, then sought legal minority status and hate crime legislation. Now they want to legally redefine marriage.

By their own written agenda, I believe that the end game is to silence any and all opposition to their lifestyle.

That flies in the face of the average person’s 1st Amendment rights of free speech and religious liberty.

Romans 1 lumps homosexuality with other sins such as murder, envy and strife, and says that those who commit such acts are worthy of death, and goes on to say “not only they, but those who approve.”

I will vote “no” on Question 1 on Nov. 6.
