- Runners, joggers and walkers take off at the start of Sunday’s Whittier Family Couch to 5k race at Minot Consolidated School. Coady Lagasse of Poland, No. 557, far right, won; 313 people registered for the race. Bruce M. Whittier Middle School Principal Shawn Vincent won a $2,500 “ING Run for Something Better” grant to fight obesity and get students moving.
