- Nineteen gift-filled shoe boxes were sent to the mission project Operation Christmas Child by the Rumford United Methodist Church. The project is part of Samaritan’s Purse sponsored by the Billy Graham organization. The boxes were presented and dedicated during a morning worship service. Pictured are Jim Robertson, lay leader, and Mary Pulsifer, chairperson of the project for the church.
