Favorites
Rangeley and Richmond are the top two seeds once again and appear well above the rest of the field. Both teams went 7-1 against the rest of the Western D field and the lone Class D losses for each were against each other. Rangeley won its games by a margin of nearly 30 points and only three wins were by 10 or less. Richmond beat its foes by an average of 33 points and its closest win was by 12.
Dark horses
Hyde went 4-0 against teams in the Western D field and are a bit of an unknown after going 0-16 the year before. The Phoenix only played one team with a winning record and that was against Class C Old Orchard. Forest Hills has some scoring punch, averaging 55.7 points per game. The Tigers have no seniors but gave both Richmond and Rangeley better games than most opponents. Forest Hills has also won eight of its last nine games.
