MEXICO – The Police Department responded to 30 incidents in the past week. Among the incidents are the following:
Thefts
* A Riverside Drive resident reported at 7:36 p.m. March 23 that someone stole property from their home. Police have suspects and the case remains under investigation.
* A Brown Street resident reported at 5:58 p.m. March 23 that his fence was damaged sometime during the previous two nights. Damage was estimated at $100.
Vandalism
* A Granite Street resident reported at 8:19 a.m. March 23 that someone egged her parked vehicle overnight. The vehicle was not damaged.
* A Sun Valley Circle resident reported at 7:15 a.m. March 23 that someone keyed his vehicle while it was parked in the lot. Police received no other reports of keyed vehicles in the area, although Lt. Roy Hodsdon said a smashed window was reported in the same lot a week earlier.
Accidents
* A Monroe Street resident reported at 10:48 p.m. March 22 that a silver Jeep hit a snowbank in his driveway, landed on his lawn. The resident added that the airbag of the vehicle had deployed and the driver, despite looking disorientated, drove away, leaving parts of his vehicle behind.
