PARIS — A Mexico man accused of sexually assaulting a young boy was released on personal recognizance bail Friday.
Alan Chimsky-Lustig, 21, of Sun Valley Circle, faces two counts of gross sexual assault, Class A offenses punishable by up to 30 years in prison and a fine of up to $50,000.
Chimsky-Lustig was arrested Wednesday, following a six-week investigation, according to Lt. Roy Hodsdon of the Mexico Police Department. Hodsdon said the investigation began in February after a Mexico resident reported an incident of sexual assault to police. Hodsdon said the victim was a boy under 12 years of age.
According to Chimsky-Lustig’s bail sheet, his arraignment in Oxford County Superior Court is set for July 1 at 8:30 a.m. His bail conditions bar him from having contact with children under 16 years old.
