PHILLIPS — Phillips Old Home Days, set for Aug. 11-18, will have a theme of “Duck Dynasty Phillips Style.”

Some events still need sponsors in order to take place.

This year there are three main categories for the parade: Most Original, Funniest and Most Beautiful, with prizes of first place $100, second place $50 and third place $25. The Judges’ Choice is $100.

To announce an event in the brochure, the fee is $30. Send fee and event information to PCOC, 37 Bray Hill Road, Phillips ME 04966.

Volunteers are needed to help at the annual barbecue, such as gathering tables and benches, helping with setup and cleanup. Call Mel Galusha at 639-5926.

Volunteers are needed in the food wagon between 1 and 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 17, with shut down during the parade. Call Janet White at 639-4130.
