- Responsible Pet Care of Oxford Hills held its first Fun Dog Day on June 16 at the Oxford fairgrounds. The event involved dogs and their owners from around the area participating in dog walks, a dog show and other events. There were also demonstrations, musical sit for dogs and much more. Sergei Bachkovsky, who was named best trainer in Maine for 2013 by Downeast Dog News, spoke at the event and made himself available to dog owners for questions. The funds support the new building in Paris and the ongoing care of the cats and dogs sheltered there.
