Next, from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, July 13, Fort Knox visitors may listen to the haunting refrain of bagpipe music from four Maine-based bagpipe bands in what is known as the annual Scottish Tattoo.

Tickets for each event are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Tickets may be purchased the evening of the event or in advance by calling 207-469-6553. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and, for those with a mind for it, comfortable dancing shoes.
