- Claire Tanner of Livermore Falls prepares to hand-sew a quilt square at Washburn-Norlands Living History Center on Saturday. “It’s been a good day; very steady,” Tanner said. She portrays Aunt Kallie on the 19th-century farm. Saturday was the last day of the season the center was open for public tours. It will remain open through the winter for school tours and special programs.
