WEST PARIS — “Let Your Light Shine,” the annual West Paris Library celebration ushering in the winter season, will take place at 6:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13.
This event, sponsored by the Friends of the Library and symbolized by the red heart glowing in the front window, is a way to express the warm wishes and gratitude felt toward all who have supported the library in any way and the community which it serves.
Following the illumination of the lights that will sparkle all around the library, refreshments will be served. The Agnes Gray Explorers will sing a few selections from their upcoming concert, Story Book Christmas. There will be a sing-along of seasonal favorites with keyboard player Susan Glines and, weather permitting, horse-drawn wagon rides will be provided by the Stargazer Farms of West Paris for the young and young at heart.
In addition, the library is currently displaying photos by local photography enthusiasts Dan Trowbridge, Mike Payer, Susan Lyons, Deb Herrick and Ann Holt.
All are welcome.
