Lynn Newell, a teacher at Rumford Elementary School, said Ghost is a certified therapy dog for the Tail Waggin’ Tutors Program. The goal of the program is to “build excitement around reading” and to “give beginning readers an extra-special opportunity to practice reading in a relaxed and non-judgmental setting.”
