I hope that Crystal Ward (letter, Jan. 2), who is very knowledgeable of the staff and politics of Lewiston High School, will consider running for the School Committee at the next possible opportunity.

I have known her for years and have found her able and worthy of making difficult choices.

The city would be enhanced to have such a person on any committee working for the best choices of Lewiston.
