BRUNSWICK — A 25-year-old Brunswick woman was arrested Saturday and charged with breaking into a home and assaulting her 37-year-old boyfriend.
Rebecca Hiscock faces a felony charge of aggravated criminal trespass, as well as misdemeanor domestic violence assault, following the alleged attack Saturday morning.
A friend of the boyfriend’s reported to police that Hiscock arrived at her home, demanded to talk to her boyfriend, and then kicked in the door and punched him in the face, Deputy Chief Marc Hagan of the Brunswick Police Department said Monday.
Police responded just before 11 a.m. and said they found the man with fresh scratches to his face, but he required no medical treatment.
Hiscock was arrested at her nearby home and released from the Brunswick police station on $1,000 unsecured bail. She is scheduled to appear in Portland Superior Court on Feb. 18.
