- The day after a snowstorm swept across the town of Dixfield, nearly everything was buried underneath more than a foot of snow, including the wooden moose on Main Street’s Village Green. Dixfield’s 20 inches of snow was the biggest amount left by Wednesday’s storm, according to the National Weather Service in Gray.
