LISBON FALLS — St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church is offering a free women’s seminar, “A Journey Toward Freedom,” led by Allison VanderLinden from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 12.

“As beloved children of God we have been given an inheritance of love, grace and righteousness,” said VanderLinden. “Nothing can separate us from this inheritance. However, strongholds certainly seem to rob us of our inheritance. Come, journey toward your freedom as God’s word breaks through your strongholds.”

A free lunch is provided. RSVP to the church at 207-353-8453 or stmattlisb@gwi.net.

VanderLinden, a member of St. Matthew’s since 2005, serves as a lector, team teaches an adult Sunday School class with her husband, and co-teaches the Senior High Sunday School. Together they serve on the Mission and Outreach Committee and healing teams.

St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, founded in 1906, brings together contemporary worship with ancient ritual, Bible-based preaching, expressions of the Holy Spirit, and loving service to others. The church is on the hill off Route 196. For more information, visit www.StMatthewsLisbon.org.
