Painter Luanne Wrenn and photographer Alex Wrenn to exhibit at SugarWood Gallery

FARMINGTON — The artists of the month at SugarWood Gallery are Luann and Alex Wrenn of Wilton. An open house reception will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, May, and from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, May 4. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served.

As an educator, and an author/ illustrator of children’s stories, Luanne Wrenn likes to explore the story connected to the subject matter, real or imagined. In the two related series on display, she will show musicians and their connection to what they do. Lights, trees, shadows, and dancing into the night are part of the series, Musicians in the Woods, and this show is the series’ first public viewing.

Alex Wrenn is a graduate from the New England School of Communications. His main studies in school were video production and photography. Alex’s photos have been used professionally throughout parts of New England and he has produced and co-produced videos for professional purposes in the New England area and around the world. His main goal is to make a piece of art out of anything and everything possible that comes in front of the lens.

The Wrenn’s work will be on display throughout the month of May for the public to view and purchase.
