The Survivior’s Reception is generously sponsored by Summit Insurance. Ron Theriault wanted to dedicate this year’s reception to Helen Deanis, a personal friend. Helen bravely battled cancer, never complaining or feeling bad for herself. She was an amazing person whose love of life was apparent to everyone she met. She remained very active in all her events throughout her battle.
Ron also recognizes the other cancer surviviors in the area. He said this was his year to step up to the plate and help make a difference. Please be at the announcer’s booth by 8:45 p.m.
Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. and the reception begins at 5 p.m. Refreshments and drinks will be served.
The Courage award and Shirley Comeau award will also be given at this time.
At 6 p.m. the Surviviors and Caregivers will take the first lap around the track and open the event.
