D’Lanie Jarvis, right, of Auburn walks with her family during the March of Dimes March for Babies in Lewiston on Saturday. Over 150 people registered for the walk that raised $30,000 for the March of Dimes, an organization that works to improve the health of babies by reducing birth defects, premature births and infant mortality. Joshua Jarvis, top left, and Jessica Kilton walked with their children Wesley, left, Bryson and D’Lanie in honor of 2-year-old Wesley, who was born 11 weeks early and weighed 3 pounds and 12 ounces at birth. Aidan Lamothe, the national ambassador for the March of Dimes, attended the walk with his mother, Jill Teeters. Lamothe was so tiny at birth that his father’s wedding band could fit around his wrist when he was born 12 weeks early.
