The following arrests were logged by the Rumford Police Department:

* Levi Rajaniemi, 23, Rumford, Oxford County Superior Court warrant charging failure to pay fines for operating under the influence, 8:33 p.m. June 18 on Lincoln Avenue. He was released on $300 cash bail.

* Gerald Pelletier, 48, Mexico, warrant charging failure to pay fines, 10:31 p.m. June 14. He was released on $115 cash bail.

* Dianne Alward, 40, Canton, furnishing a place for minors to consume/possess liquor, 10:02 p.m. June 13 on Route 108. She was released on $800 unsecured bail and will be arraigned on Aug. 5 in 11th District Court.

Police responded to 101 calls in the past week, including:

* June 19, 1:50 a.m., a Maine Avenue resident reported the theft of a ring valued at $300. Officer Brad Gallant is investigating.

* June 17, 8:33 p.m., the department received a report of a juvenile threatening another with a knife on Rangeley Place. Investigators charged a 17-year-old with terrorizing with a dangerous weapon. He is scheduled to appear at 1 p.m. Sept. 2 in 11th District Court.

* June 17, 9:09 a.m., a Franklin Street resident reported items valued at $50 missing from her garage over the past couple of months. Sgt. James Bernard is investigating.

* June 14, 7 p.m., a bicycle valued at $100 was reported stolen from fields on Falmouth Street. The property was not found.

* June 13, 3:25 p.m., an officer was called to Marden’s store on Route 2 on a theft complaint. Sgt. Douglas Maifeld charged Susann Melcher, 61, of Wilton with theft by deception. She is to appear at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 5 in 11th District Court.
