- The revamped northbound on-ramp at Maine Turnpike Exit 80 opened at 5 a.m. Thursday. The completion of the ramp eliminates the need for northbound traffic to turn west and then loop around to merge onto the turnpike. The Maine Turnpike Authority’s Lewiston Interchange Reconstruction project is almost a year away from completion.
