LEWISTON — Riverside Street was briefly closed Friday afternoon while a propane company fixed a gas leak at AmeriGas.
The city reported at about 3 p.m. that the Lewiston Fire Department was sent to the AmeriGas site as the company made repairs. The problem was fixed within two hours and the street was reopened.
No major traffic problems were reported. Riverside runs off Main Street near the Veteran’s Bridge.
