Season outlook: Oxford Hills returns a wealth of experience from what was a tough season in the newly configured Class A East. The top returning rusher (Geiger) and leading tackler (Turner) return along with starting QB LaFrance. Turner ‘s speed and strength have progressed to the point where he might share of the carries, and the emergence of the LaFrance-to-Spinhirn connection may result in the Vikings tabling the triple option for multiple formations. Tackles Docos and Medeiros weigh in at 250-plus pounds. Harris, a transfer from Ohio, bolsters the defense. There are some nice pieces in places for the Vikings. An early win or two would do wonders for the confidence of a program that hasn’t experienced a winning season since 2005.
