BRYANT POND — The wedding of Marybeth Alice Hoover and Thomas Joseph Ray was held at 1 p.m. on June 28 at Bryant Pond Baptist Church. Pastor Matthew Jones officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Ray is the daughter of Stephen and Elizabeth Hoover of Bryant Pond. Mr. Ray is the son of Samuel and Janet Ray of South Paris.
The bride wore a gown with camisole top of crystal beading, sequins and rhinestones, with full skirt of embroidered lace and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of cream hydrangea and succulents.
Rachel Andrews Estelle, best friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Carrie Shaw Jones, best friend, Mandy Ray, sister-in-law, and Maggie Hoyt, cousin. Shawn Kamauri Allen, child of a cousin, was flower girl.
Performing the duties of best man was Jeremy Whitney, cousin. Ushers were Stephen Whitney and Joshua Whitney, cousins, and Eric Andrews, friend. Parker Whitney, son of a cousin, was the ring bearer.
A reception followed at the American Legion Hall in Locke Mills, after which the couple traveled to Prince Edward Island. They are residing in West Paris.
The bride is a graduate of Oxford Hills Christian Academy and received a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Pensacola Christian College. She is currently working as a freelance graphic designer with a Texas-based company called DuoParadigms.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Oxford Hills Christian Academy and is currently employed at Damon Builders.
