LEWISTON — Normand O. and Irene Bureau of Lewiston recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a weekend-long event hosted by their seven children and spouses at Boothbay Harbor on Aug. 2 and Aug. 3.

On Saturday, family members gathered at Ship Ahoy Hotel for a day of festivities followed by dinner and an outdoor evening showing of a slideshow depicting their life together during the past 60 years.

On Sunday the celebration continued with a gathering at Barrett Park, where relatives and friends joined the family for a day-long picnic.
