Mary Everett and Emily Gibson also tallied for the Knights (2-0) to complete the scoring. Kayla Barry and Gina Richard scored for Greely (0-2) in a solid effort.
Tia Lowndes made 14 saves for Poland, while Lizzie Brown turned aside seven shots for Greely.

FARMINGDALE — Haley Marshall netted four goals Friday as Oak Hill opened added a second win on the young season with an 8-0 victory over Hall-Dale.
Danielle Samson, Hayden Spencer, Kylee Veilleux, Erica Hannigan, Sadie Goulet, and Kayla Veilleux also tallied for the Raiders (2-0).
Abbie Fuller and Meagan Labbe combined to record two saves for Oak Hill, while Molly French deflected 37 shots between the posts for Hall-Dale (0-2).

TURNER — Meagan Mikel and Raena Boulay each netted a pair of goals to propel Mt. View to a 4-1 victory over Leavitt inKVAC field hockey action Friday.
Kaitlyn Leclerc gave the Hornets a lone goal early in the second half.

AUBURN — Sophomore midfielder Victoria Beliveau scored her second goal of the season to nudge Edward Little to a 1-0 victory over Bangor in field hockey action Friday afternoon.
The Red Eddies (2-0) struck in the ninth minute of the first half to score the game’s lone goal.
Goalie Rachel Luc made 17 saves for the Rams (0-2), while goalie Danica Nadeau prevented 17 to earn the win in net for Edward Little.
Lisbon 2, Mtn. Valley 0
RUMFORD — Katie Philbrock scored the first goal three minutes into the contest as Lisbon took a 2-0 victory over Mountain Valley in field hockey action Friday afternoon.
The Greyhounds (1-0) scored an insurance goal in the second half on a tally from Chase Collier.
Goalie Kassie Thibodeau made 21 saves for the Falcons (0-2), while goalie Stevie Charest turned away five to earn the win in net for Lisbon.

AUGUSTA — Mariah Vaillancourt netted a pair of goals in the second half as Edward Little opened its 2014 campaign with a 3-1 victory over Cony in KVAC girls’ soccer action Friday.
Francesca-Beth Haines also tallied for the Red Eddies (1-0) to complete the scoring. Mary-Margaret Kirchner scored for the Rams (0-1) to prevent a shutout.
Molly Murray made five saves for Edward Little, while Autumn Sudsbury turned aside nine shots between the posts for Cony.
Buckfield 8, Valley 0
BUCKFIELD — Bri Damon led a trio of players to tally goals Friday as Buckfield cruised to a 8-0 season-opening win over Valley.
Damon led the Bucks (1-0) with four goals, while Naudia Wesley registered a hat trick. Kali Litchfield also tallied to complete the scoring.
Olivia Dooley made five saves to notch the shutout, while Charlie Savoy deflected 19 shots for the Cavaliers (0-1).

RUMFORD — Haley Fletcher netted a pair of goals Friday as Monmouth opened the 2014 season with a 3-1 victory over Mountain Valley.
Sidney Wilson also tallied for the Mustangs (1-0) to complete the scoring. Leann McNally scored the Falcons’ (0-1) lone goal in the second half.
Mikayla Cameron and Maddie Neal combined to record 13 saves for Monmouth, while Karen Flaherty turned aside 20 shots for Mountain Valley.

FARMINGDALE — Kristen Conner netted a goal with 5:27 left to lift St. Dom’s to a 2-1 victory over Hall-Dale in more girls’ soccer action Friday.
Conner also scored in the first half for the Saints (1-0) to complete the scoring. Thea Sweet scored the Bulldogs’ (0-1) lone goal in the second stanza.
Nicole Robitaille made 11 saves for St. Dom’s, while Olivia Maynard turned back eight shots for Hall-Dale.

WALES — Deliah Schrieber netted her third goal of the game with 30 minutes left to play as Lisbon edged Oak Hill 3-2 in more loca lsoccer action Friday.
Schrieber tallied her first two goals in the first frame as the Greyhounds (1-0) took control early. Hannah Nadeau scored both goals for the Raiders (0-1) in a solid opening day effort.
Jasmine Le made 10 saves for Lisbon, while Abbie Dodge deflected five shots for Oak Hill.
Leavitt 3, Spruce Mountain 0
JAY — Sophie Gilbert led a trio of players to register goals Friday as Leavitt fired up the new season with a 3-0 victory over Spruce Mountain.
Shannon O’Malley and Nikki Daigle also tallied for the Hornets (1-0) to complete the scoring. Lilianna Cousineau and O’Malley were credited with assists in a well-rounded effort.
Angela Daigle made six saves for Leavitt, while veteran keeper Emily Keene turned aside 13 shots between the posts for Spruce Mountain.

FARMINGTON — Oxford Hills and Mt. Blue battled to a double-overtime 2-2 tie in their season opener in girls’ soccer action Friday evening.
Senior center halfback Mikayla Morin netted a pair of goals in a 10-minute span in the second half to even the score at 2-2 for the Vikings (0-0-1). She drove the second goal into the net with confidence.
Junior forward Eryn Doiron put the Cougars on top 2-0 before the half.
Goalie Addie Schanz made nine saves for the Cougars (0-0-1), while goalie Sam Bickford turned back eight for Oxford Hills.

AUBURN — Maslah Hassan registered a hat trick Friday as Edward Little hustled to a 7-0 romp over Cony in a season-opening KVAC tilt Friday.
Alex Thompson chipped in for the Red Eddies (1-0) with two goals, while Yusuf Adow and Jarod Norcross Plourde also tallied.
Llewellyn Jensen needed only three saves to notch the shutout.

BUCKFIELD — Jon Randolph recorded a hat trick Friday as Buckfield launched its 2014 campaign with a convincing 8-0 win over Valley.
Sidney Jackson and Brian Casey each added a pair of goals for the Bucks (1-0), while Ethan Jackson also tallied to complete the scoring. Cody Lawyerson scored both goals for Valley.
Calvin Downey made six saves for Buckfield, while Colin Miller deflected 16 shots between the posts for Valley (0-1).
