Expenet Technologies, located in Wilton, Maine, is a local business dedicated to serving residential and small business Information Technology needs. Josh Michaud and Jeff Chaisson are the owners of Expenet Technology and have experiences ranging from general desktop and laptop repair to configuring and maintaining advanced networks and servers.

Michaud graduated with a four-year degree in Computer Networking while Chaisson has worked with several small business owners and currently works as a LAN specialist at Verso Paper in Jay, Maine. Chaisson’s primary background in computers came from his experience in the U.S. Air Force.

Michaud and Chaisson met at Verso Paper while Michaud was interning and gaining a background in information technology. They both shared an interest in developing a company which would fill a niche in the Franklin and Oxford counties area.

Toward the end of 2011, Expenet started out in the basement of Chaisson’s home. But, it wasn’t long before they found a need for a more dedicated shop. That’s when they moved into their current location at 295 Main Street.

Designing the workshop to allow for growth has enabled the business to effectively work on PCs and support two part-time employees as of February this year. Jonathan Sloma and Ernie Steward III have been a great addition to the

team.

Businesses and residents can look for services such as desktop and laptop repair, data protection, network installation / management, and consultation. These are only a select few services that are within their arsenal. Whatever services or skills you need relating to IT,  check out their website at www.expenet.com or contact them by phone at 207-645-4449 with any questions.
