Despite the cool conditions, this was the best-attended tournament in its 12-year history. Franklin Printing’s team made up of Greg Nemi, Drew Dingley, Stu Durrell, and TJ Leclair took home the traveling trophy with the best overall score. Winners of the longest-drive contests were Kerry Robillard for the men’s, and Renee Ouellette for the women’s.

Although nobody won the hole-in-one prize at this year’s event, one golfer did get a hole-in-one on the #10 hole. Congratulations to Nate Morin of Black Bear Graphics for shooting the ace!

After all the golfing was finished, the group headed over to The Rack for a barbecue luncheon and prize ceremony.

Seth Wescott thanked everyone for participating in the tournament, and spoke about his “Level Field Fund,” his non-profit organization that helps young athletes compete who may otherwise not have the chance.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the golf tournament go toward helping young people achieve their dreams.

The Chamber’s portion from the tournament goes to fund the David S. Robie Scholarship Fund. Each year the Chamber awards $2,000 in scholarships to students from Franklin County. Helping young people achieve their dreams, then return to their roots in Franklin County defines what Seth Wescott has done and continues to do in his life. And the Chamber of Commerce owes a special thank you to him for partnering with us over the past 12 years.
