Livermore Falls Apple Pumpkin Festival – Livermore Falls’ Apple Pumpkin Festival will be taking place at the recreation fields from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vendors, artisans, demonstratios, exhibits, contests, music, raffles, and plenty of food.

6th Annual Amazing Corn MAiZE. This year the MAiZE is featuring the Franklin County Animal Shelter’s logo as its centerpiece. The York family is proud to support FCAS and to highlight the good work they do providing shelter to abandoned and homeless animals. Hours of operation are weekends from 10 a.m. To 4 p.m. The life-sized puzzle is located at 755 Farmington Falls Rd, about 2 miles outside of Farmington on route 2. Cost is $8 for ages 10 and up, $4 for ages 3-10, and free for kids 3 and under. The FCAS will receive 50¢ of every adult admission. FCAS staff will be at the MAiZE on October 25th and 26th with some fun activities!

3rd Annual Front Street Pumpkin Festival – Live entertainment including a Rick Charette Concert, the Red Trouser Show, Cate Flaherty Performance (juggling & hand balancing), Dana and Friends Ventriloquist show, Conjuring Carroll and the Franklin County Fiddlers. Horse drawn wagon rides, scarecrow decorating, a pumpkin pie eating contest and more.

Piano Recital – The Arts Institute of Western Maine will be hosting a piano recital by Kathryn Sytsma at Nordica Auditorium in Merrill on the University of Maine at Farmington campus. Donations will be accepted as admission.
