ANDOVER — Funeral services for William E. “Bill” Swan, of Andover, were conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Andover Congregational Church with the Rev. Jane C. Rich officiating.
The organist was Lynn Ramsey.
Music selections included, “In The Garden” and “Amazing Grace.”
Words of remembrance were given by his daughter, Karen Swan, grandson, Carson McKay, friend, Roger Drouin, and friend, Mary Dunn, who also read the poem, “Beyond the Wall.”
A delegation from the Napoleon Ouellette Post No. 24, American Legions, read the American Legion prayer lead by Chaplain Dane Curato and supported by members, Urbain Arsenault, Marcel Martineau and Benny Bradley.
Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Jane C. Rich.
Interment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Andover.
Military Honors were presented by the U. S. Marine Corps from Brunswick.
A reception followed in the CEB of the Andover Congregational Church.
