SABATTUS – Joseph (Ed) and Irene Breton of Sabattus are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Cindy Martha Breton, to Elliot Luther Gilman, son of Peter and Cynthia Gilman of Toledo, Ohio.

Miss Breton is a 1991 graduate of Oak Hill High School and a 1995 graduate of Lyndon State College with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She is currently employed as a newscast director at WMTW Channel 8 in Auburn.

Mr. Gilman is a 1991 graduate of Oyster River High School in Durham, N.H., and a 1996 graduate of Lyndon State College with a bachelor’s degree in communications. He is employed as a lead content designer at Turbine Entertainment Software in Westwood, Mass.

The couple plans to wed on May 7 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Sabattus.
