The show is a collection of vignettes based on a series of articles and short stories that Checkov wrote to help pay for medical school. Using a writer/narrator who is suffering from writer’s block, Simon created a series of fast moving and funny situations with memorable characters, each one loonier than the last. “The Good Doctor” is a prescription that is easy to take for whatever ails.
The show will run from Nov. 5-8, at the Dr. Robert Wall Theater, Poland Regional High School, 1457 Maine St. Show time is 7 p.m. and tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for seniors and students. For more information, call 207-998-5400 or email drobinson@rsu16.org.
