Craft fair Nov. 15 at Telstar High

BETHEL — A craft fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday Nov. 15, at Telstar High School cafeteria. It benefits the Telstar Alumni Association.

Ham supper Nov. 15 at American Legion

PARIS — A ham supper “with all the fixins” will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Foster-Carroll Post No. 72, 12 Church St.

Supper includes the group’s famous dessert pies. Cost for supper only is $8 for adults, $4 under 12 years.

Finnish American Heritage Society meeting

WEST PARIS — The regular monthly meeting of the Finnish American Heritage Society will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16, at the Finnish-American Heritage Center, 8 Maple St.

Following a brief business meeting, Anikka Kahknoen, a high school senior who spent a month with relatives in Finland last summer traveling extensively, will share her experiences through video and narration.

Spurrs Corner food pantry hours

OTISFIELD — The food pantry at Spurrs Corner Church, Route 121, will be open Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. to noon.

WEST PARIS — The Neighborhood Niche Food Pantry will be open from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at West Paris Baptist Church, 15 Church St. The pantry is open the first and third Tuesdays of each month and West Paris residents are invited to come once a month. 

SeniorsPlus to visit Norway, Fryeburg

NORWAY/FRYEBURG — SeniorsPlus, the Area Agency on Aging, will be at the Norway Town Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 1 to 4 p.m. and at the Fryeburg Public Library on Monday, Nov. 24, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Representatives will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

OTISFIELD —A free (donations accepted) community lunch and stuff swap will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Community Hall, Route 121.

Menu will be turkey, gravy, stuffing, squash, peas, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, homemade pies, cider, coffee, tea, water.

Annual chicken pie supper is Nov. 20

WEST PARIS — The First Universalist Church of West Paris annual chicken pie supper will take place at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20. Tickets go on sale at the door starting at 4:30 p.m.

The price for the supper is $10 for adults; ages 5-12, $5; kids under 5, free. The menu will be the same as always: the famous homemade chicken pies, mashed potatoes, peas, squash, cranberry sauce, rolls, dessert pies, coffee, tea, punch and water. There will also be a White Elephant Sale.
