LEWISTON — The Lewiston CareerCenter will host a Job Fair from 9 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 1, at its building at 5 Mollison Way, Lewiston. More than a dozen employers have been listed as exhibitors and all will be hiring. More than 200 jobs will be available.

Employers participating in the job fair include Advocates for Children, Assistance Plus, Bonney Staffing Center, Creative Work Systems, Fisher Agencies, Labor Ready, NAMI Maine, Nestle Waters of North America, Primerica Financial Services, Rose’s Commercial Cleaning, SequelCare of Maine, SPC Transport, Stericycle, Communication Solutions, TD Bank, Ted Berry Company, Wal-Mart, Xerox and others.

Positions will be available for customer service, personal support specialists, direct support professionals, Mental Health Rehabilitation Technicians (MHRT-1), behavioral health professionals, warehouse, machine operators, medical billers and coders, administrators, human resources officers, respite providers, production workers, forklift operators, cleaners, brokerage coordinators, customer care assistants, cashiers, overnight stockers, grocery workers and more.

Attendees should bring a resume and be prepared to have an “interview-like” conversation with employers to discuss skills, knowledge areas and abilities. Job seekers should be dressed for an interview.

French and Spanish interpreters will be available; requests for other languages should be made in advance to the CareerCenter.

CareerCenters, part of the Maine Department of Labor, offer a variety of workshops and services to help people find employment or upgrade skills.
