- Mechanics Savings Bank recently donated $1,000 to the Auburn Public Library. The funds will be used to maintain the library’s science, technology, engineering and math programs. Present at the donation were Kirk Egge, chief information officer at Mechanics Savings Bank and an Auburn Public Library board member, and Mamie Anthoine Ney, library director.
