The 42-member concert band is comprised of volunteer musicians from 15 central Maine communities, who range in age from 14 to 89. The group will perform both traditional and contemporary holiday favorites.
As has been the tradition for over 25 years, those attending the performance will have the opportunity to make a donation to the local branch of the Salvation Army. All money collected that evening will be used to help area residents in need of assistance. Following each of the ACCB’s past two holiday concerts, audiences contributed over $1,000.
The Franco Center is at 46 Cedar Street. For more information, call 207-783-1585 or visit www.auburncommunityband.com.
