LISBON — Page Brown had a game-high 13 points and Morgan Crocker poured in 12 as Boothbay defeated Lisbon, 43-35, on Monday.
Boothbay (5-0) grabbed a 15-9 lead at the end of the first quarter and hung on the rest of the way.
Carrabec 74, Telstar 26
NORTH ANSON — Carrabec High School wasted no time getting the upperhand on visiting Telstar during its 74-26 victory Monday.
The Cobras (3-3) jumped out to a 21-1 lead after one quarter and led 40-11 at halftime. Emma Pluntke finished with a team-high 18 points. Stephanie Cossaboom (12 points) and Mickayla Willette (11) also finished in double figures.
The Rebels (0-6) were held to just nine field goals. Becca Howard had six of them — two from behind the arc — and finished with 18 points.

Emory 84, Bates 65
ATLANTA, Ga. — No. 7 nationally ranked Emory University handed the Bates College men’s basketball team its first loss of the season on Monday, 84-65, on the first day of the Emory Tournament.
Bates (7-1) will face Birmingham-Southern (6-3) on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Emory in the tournament consolation game. Emory (8-1) hosts Union in the championship game at 4 p.m.
The Bobcats received a game-high 23 points along with eight assists from senior captain Graham Safford, as well as a career-high 11 points off the bench from junior Mike Newton.
Alex Foster scored 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting for the Eagles, including 16 points in the second half. Michael Florin passed out 11 assists, helping five Emory players score in double figures.
