ASHLAND, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire state police dispatcher says 50 to 100 vehicles are involved in a multi-vehicle pileup on Interstate 93 north near Ashland.

Dispatcher D. Joseph Miller in the Twin Mountain Barracks says there have been some injuries, but they are not considered to be life-threatening.

State Transportation spokesman Bill Boynton said the accidents happened sometime after 10:30 a.m. Friday.

He said the accidents happened between exits 24 and 25 in the northbound lanes, currently closed to traffic. Police are asking drivers to get off of Exit 22.
