DURHAM — Prospective candidates are reminded that nomination papers for the annual municipal election are due at the Town Office by 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17.

The Town Office will be closed Monday for Presidents Day.

A minimum of 25 signatures of Durham registered voters are required, but it is recommended that a few extra be obtained in the event a signer is disqualified.

The following residents have filed papers: Candace Decipkes for the Regional School Unit 5 Board of Directors, Christina Libby for Budget Committee and Joshua Libby and Robert Whitmore for selectmen.

Leigh Fisher took out papers for the Budget Committee, but had not filed them as of Thursday.
