AUGUSTA —A grant-writing workshop designed for people interested in submitting federal applications for the Farmers Market and Local Food Promotion Program will be offered from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, March 23, at Viles Arboretum, 153 Hospital St., Augusta.
University of Maine Cooperative Extension is conducting the workshop under the Agricultural Marketing Service Technical Assistance (AMSTA) Project in collaboration with the Maine Federation of Farmers Markets and the Northeast Regional Center for Rural Development, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) and the National Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA).
