HOULTON — State police are investigating a man’s death in Houlton.
Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the state police, confirmed Monday afternoon police are investigating the discovery of a man’s body inside a home on Hillview Avenue in Houlton late Sunday night. Police are labeling the death suspicious and are working to confirm the man’s identity.
The body was found at the home at 412 Hillview after Houlton police had received a report about a mile away on the same street of a pickup truck that had gone off the road into a snowbank. The truck is registered to the man who lives at 412 Hillview. Detectives are gathering evidence from the scene where the truck was found and also from inside the house.
