Arrested in connection with the case were Chad Goucher, 37, of Winthrop, David Ridlon, 37, of Winthrop and Joseph Crosby, 28, of Alaska, according to Struck.

On March 6, Winthrop police, with assistance from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, state police and the Maine Warden Service, executed a search warrant at Goucher’s Mt. Pisgah Road residence, according to Struck.

Police found a sawed-off shotgun, a loaded .22-caliber rifle, 13 grams of heroin valued at $2,600 and $15,000 in cash, Struck said.

Goucher was charged with trafficking in scheduled drugs and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, Crosby with possession of scheduled drugs and Ridlon was arrested on a warrant, Struck said.
