Charges
* David Widger, 23, of Rumford, domestic violence assault, 10:31 a.m. March 9 on Hancock Street. He was released on $600 unsecured bail and will be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. on April 7 in 11th District Court.
Reports
* At 11:57 p.m. on March 10, a Roxbury resident reported the theft of woodworking tools and copper valued at approximately $600 from his Pine Street rent. Sgt. Doug Maifeld is investigating.
* At 3:30 p.m. on March 6, a Peru resident reported that a camper parked on private property off the Beliveau Road was broken into within the past few days. Stolen were two guns and a chain saw with a total approximate value of $875. Maifeld took the initial complaint, and then detective Peter Casey was assigned the case. On March 10, Casey and Capt. Daniel Garbarini followed up on some leads and recovered the property in Mexico. The case is still under investigation and charges are pending.
