SABATTUS — Robert E. Cabral, 62, of Littlefield Road, Sabattus, died at his home on Saturday, March 14, with his loving wife at his side.
He was born in Fall River, Mass., on July 16, 1952, a son of the late Ernest and Gabrielle (Pellerin) Cabral.
Robert married the love of his life, the former Emily Black on March 1, 1980. He worked for many years in the textile industry, most recently as a supervisor at the Worumbo Mill, then went on to work for Auburn Manufacturing.
He enjoyed fishing and camping in his younger years. He also enjoyed following sports, such as the Red Sox, and most of all the Pats—he was their biggest fan.
He leaves his wife of 35 years, Emily Cabral of Sabattus; a son, Bruce Cabral and his fiancée, Jennifer Chamberlan, of Greene; a daughter, Melanie Dube and her husband, Glen, of Sabattus; two nieces, Lisa Desrochers-Hodgkins and Kim Beaule; and his six grandchildren.
He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Rebecca Starr Cabral; his sister, Carol Desrochers; and his brother-in-law, Carl Desrochers.
