RUMFORD — The Police Department responded to 96 calls in the past week. Among them were the following:
* At 3:02 p.m. April 22, a Franklin Street resident reported someone entered her apartment and took prescription medications while she was away. Cpl. Donald Miller is investigating.
* At 10:14 p.m. April 24, James Curato, 61, of Rumford was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence of intoxicants and/or drugs. He was released on $600 unsecured bail and will be arraigned at 8:30 a.m. July 7 in Rumford District Court.
* At 2:51 p.m. April 25, a Riverside Drive resident reported someone entered her residence and stole money. Sgt. Doug Maifeld is investigating.
