ANSWER: Sun Spots has read many reports that state Lumber Liquidators stopped selling the China-made flooring after the discovery that some of it contained formaldehyde. Forbes reports: “The flooring retailer began offering free indoor air quality tests to concerned customers in response, and on Thursday revealed the results of 3,400 testing kits. It said an independent analysis revealed that 97 percent of homes were within the guidelines established by the World Health Organization for indoor formaldehyde levels.”
Also: “The company plans to continue reviewing the practices of its Chinese suppliers, and said it has brought on a company founded by former FBI director Louis Freeh to aid with the ongoing investigation.”
Sun Spots cannot offer legal advice. If you are worried about your flooring, call 1-877-642-3630 to learn how you can get it tested.
