1921 – 2015
AUBURN — Norma S. Foster, 94 of 6 Lexis Lane, Auburn, died early Wednesday morning, May 27, at Clover Manor after a short illness.
She was born in Lisbon Falls on Feb. 10, 1921, the daughter of the late Guy and Gladys (Wile) Seger. She was educated in Monmouth and Lisbon schools.
Prior to her retirement, she had worked for many years in the local shoe industry, including Panther Shoe, where she was a packer.
Norma enjoyed cooking, cribbage, Yahtzee and being with her family.
She was the wife of Robert L. Foster, who died on Nov. 7, 2006.
She is survived by three daughters, Beverly Coffin of Yarmouth, Janice Davis and her husband, Norton, of Auburn, and Dorothy Kelleher of Westbrook, a sister-in-law, Sally Seger of Connecticut; a brother, Rudy Seger and his wife, Beverly, of Gorham; five grandchildren, Gregg, Mary Jo, Todd, Lisa and Brett; four great-grandchildren, Mattea, Zoe, Owen and Xander; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.
