WATERVILLE — The following local students were among 483 seniors who graduated from Colby College in Waterville on May 24, receiving bachelor of arts degrees at the College’s 194th Commencement.
Kevin R. Adair of Fayette, son of Eric and Carol Adair of Fayette, a graduate of Greenwich Central High School. Adair majored in government.
Anna M. Doyle of Winthrop, daughter of Stephen and Mary Doyle of Winthrop, a graduate of Winthrop High School. Doyle majored in theater and dance and psychology.
Alice S. Gauvin of New Gloucester, daughter of Charles Gauvin and Eugenia Sawin of New Gloucester, a graduate of Groton School. Gauvin majored in history.
Alice M. Hotopp of Bethel, daughter of Kenneth Hotopp and Mary Gorrell of Bethel, a graduate of Gould Academy. Hotopp majored in biology.
Taysir O. Jama of Lewiston, daughter of Nimo Jama of Lewiston, and Mohamoud Hussein of Blacklick, Ohio, a graduate of Lewiston High School. Jama majored in psychology and educational studies with a human development concentration.
Samantha J. Jones of Buckfield, daughter of Kirk Jones and Kathy Saarinen of Buckfield, a graduate of Buckfield Junior-Senior High School. Jones majored in English and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies.
